The Inosanto Blend of the Filipino martial arts is a system of martial arts and martial cultures. These arts emphasize empty hand training as well as weapons training. The weapon training includes, but is not limited to, single stick known as solo baston, single and double daga, double stick known as sinawali as well as staff, sarong, hilot. In addition to the weapons training, cultural research as well as philosophical and spiritual reflection are also emphasized. The weapons systems within the Filipino martial arts stress proper body mechanics and angulated attack. Good form is achieved through rhythmic coordination drills that employ the scientific principals involved in angular attacks as well as flow drills .

On a recient vist to the "city museum" in St. Louis, Missouri; I happened upon a carved releif of St. George "the Dragon Slayer".

To me this piece speaks FMA, with the symbolism and the triangular composition.
